How do you solve a problem like Wanida?

Just started watching the thai lakorn Wanida. It's very old school, in that it's a remake of a famous lakorn from the 1970's and is set in the 1940s? I believe.

It also stars two of the most popular lakorn stars, Tik Jesadaporn, Aff Taksaorn. Wanida, the main heroine (played by Aff) is a spoiled brat of 22 years old, who can't drive a car, can't ride a bike and can't seem to do anything without failing at it. Her loving father is a loan shark and the family of Mahasak comes under his clutches. The older brother, who has a fiancee of his own, reluctantly marries Wanida to save his family from bankruptcy (it was his younger brother who borrowed the money, but he skipped town). Naturally, he's not impressed by Wanida, although they have that mutual awareness glance in like episode 2. Which is also the episode they get married in.
Can't say why I'm still watching this. It's soo cliched. Hero (Major Prajak) and heroine (Wanida) meet a number of times without knowing who each other, she falls into his arms, he saves her from a runaway horse . . . You get the drift. Really, it's mediocre at best and . . .

I'm very careful about the dramas I watch nowdays, so I don't waste my time watching stupid stuff. I usually try to wait until after a drama is over to read about what people say about it. I look for screencaps, recaps, and anything else that might help me make a choice.

Yes, I realize that makes me seem kinda weird, but as they say, burn me once, shame on you, burn me twice, shame on me.

Hmm. I'll have to look into this more closely. Maybe another post on why I'm watching this would help me understand.
