This post is really an excuse to post pretty pictures. Having finished Lie to Me episode 4, and watching Best Love's episode 5, I'm ready for more. Bring it on! Er, City Hunter, not too close, I'm smelling something odd now, and back off Ripley, I'm still undecided. I want to see how much of a witch the main character will be. No matter how entertaining it is, if I can't get behind or root for the characters, then no thank you.

(Lie to Me, Best Love)

Lie to Me has some boring (the conventional setups) and some good (the chemistry between the leads). With episodes 3 and 4 though, much of the time was spent on the relationships between brothers Sang Hee and Ki-Joon and between Sang Hee and Ah-Jung. Oh, and this love triangle I don't care about between three older people in the drama.

(Ah Jung and Ki-Joon)

It's had a few interesting moments, such as the way Ah-Jung gets Ki-Joon's attention at the hotel, but overall, not terribly compelling. Still, the set up is over with, so I think it can only get better from here on as Ah-Jung and Ki-Joon will be throw together more and more. Plus, seems like Ki-Joon's going to take this fake relationship to the extreme (well, not Dokko Jin extreme, but a milder version of it) and make his character more delightful and funny.

(You know you want to kiss the girl!)

Best Love, really hard to tell where it's going to go next. I mean, you have the general idea, it's a romantic comedy, but the Hong sisters as usual, manage to mix it up. I really think that's what they do best. Bring their own flair to conventional plots, setups. Course half the fun is Dokko Jin who seriously borders on crazy, but it's a compelling, sexy sort of mania.

I was worried the leads wouldn't have chemistry and that it would take forever and a day before Dokko Jin accepted his feelings for Ah-Jung. Well, no worries on the latter. For some reason, I really want to see Jin get the girl, I mean really.
Really. Why is that, I'm not sure of. Maybe because Dokko's been pretty open and honest about his feelings, but whatever it is, I'm definitely emotionally invested in this drama.

I just got finished watching the first two episodes of the Hong sister's latest Best Love, one episode of Lie to Me, two episodes of the twdrama Drunken to Love You, not to mention continuing Keizoku 2: Spec. So, time for some awards!
