Episode 2 or Mr. Dumb meets Tweedledee and Tweedledum. There's also a burgeoning moment of awareness, some great slap downs by Arunprapai to Mr. Dumb and Bproong, plus a fashion show pitting Bproong against Arunprapai. Mia Taeng continues to interest and amuse me.

(Arunprapai and Mr. Dumb star in "The Moment")

Poor Mr. Dumb has a problem. Actually, he has two problems, Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

You see, Mr. Dumb loudly proclaimed to all his total lack of interest in Alice, er, wife Arunprapai to one and all. He paraded around with his girlfriend Bproong on his arm and in his arms.

(Tweedledee and Aunprapai.)

Uh oh, Tweedledee, looks like someone's eavesdropping on your phone call with your ex Arunprapai.

(Can you guess who it is?)

Sooo, Tweedledee and Tweedledum think it's okay to chase after Arunprapai. After all, her husband has another woman, so they'll probably divorce soon anyway.

(Tweedledum enters the pursuit of Arunprapai.)

(Damn! Not another one.)

Poor Mr. Dumb. He not only has to deal with Tweedledee and Tweedledum, but there's also the fact that his own wife seems to be lacking somewhat in respect of him.

(An exasperated Arunprapai patiently tries to explain things to Mr. Dumb using simple words.)

“Khun Thongthom used to tell me that you have a hard time understanding things,
but I didn't think it would be this hard.”

(. . .Huh?)

Mr. Dumb wants Arunprapai to confess to marrying him for his mom's money. But she replies that if it wasn't for his Mom's money, what would he have other then himself?

That leaves Mr. Dumb unfazed, however. (I don't think he quite got what she was saying, haha!) He later accuses her of trying to make him jealous by having Tweedledee and Tweedledum come around.

There's also a fashion show in this episode, in which Mr. Dumb's mom twists to her purposes by getting Arunprapai to join in (the only purpose of which seems to be to show the two posing like this.)

(Bproong and... brother? Bproong and... lover?)

We  learn a little more about Bproong, and it ain't pretty. There's this brother who doesn't act, er, brotherly (but maybe they're not really related?), and a family that wants her to do their bidding.

None of it's enough to drum up sympathy for Bproong from me, or cease chortling as Bproong gets dissed yet again by 1) the servants, 2) Arunprapai, 3) Mr. Dumb's interest in Arunprapai or 4) herself (her friend sabotages Arunprapai's dress, only to end up having to wear it herself and have a dress mishap that ends up in the news).

So far, so good.
