So for example, we have as the male lead a typical arrogant rich playboy, but he behaves like a little kid at times. Then there's the fighting and bickering between the leads, but it's interspersed with moments of tenderness. There's a lot more attempts at characters to talk and understand each other earlier than I'm used to in most dramas.
WHEEL OF JEALOUSY
Ok, so episode's 4 all about jealousy. Jed's jealous of Luck, PeeMarn (Luck's half-brother) is jealous of Luck, heck, everyone is. Basically, nang-ek Gluay gets a visit from Jen, the nang'rai (the girl villian) Luck's girlfriend. Jen goes to the guest house where she apparently has stayed over before and makes sure Gluay knows.
I like Gluay here, she's pretty hardcore for a nang-ek (leading girl) and has Jen's stuff thrown out and burned. Luck comes along and tries to tell Gluay he hasn't been with Jen since he married her, but she's like, what does it matter? I love it that she's the one who has to remind him it's just fake. That doesn't sit to well with Luck, and he's further upset to learn Jed has come to their house.
In a fit of jealousy herself, Gluay goes to see Jed, even though she had told him not to come to the house before. So jealous Luck of course butts in between them literally. Certainmente you can be sure Jed and Luck are punching it out. Yessh. Luck goes off tramping around with Jen only to bump into his brother PeeMarn.
By now, PeeMarn knows something suspicious and he goes to his Mom for some answers. And then Gluay. He guesses now the marriage was just to cut him out, and wants to postpone his engagement to the nice girl, NahTah. His mom, Khun Kare, arranged the whole thing and he let her. So at the end of episode 4, she lays the law down and tells him he's not backing out of the engagement now and making their family lose face.
Luck stayed the night out, claims he didn't do anything, he was drunk and just fell asleep at Jen's house. He comes into the house the next day, sauntering in all cocky like what a bad boy I am. It's cute, believe me. And then it's oh, *censored* no, as he finds out Gluay knew where he was since Jen called her. He wanted her to worry about him, but of course that backfires greatly. Cute. He's really like a little boy here, haha.
What else did I like? After the fight, Luck's stepmom sits both of them down, Luck and Gluay and actually reprimands them both. What?! You can solve problems by talking? She even tells them they both must respect the other even in a fake marriage. Awesauce.
