Watching now: Quick update on all the dramas I've started, watched at least five episodes or more of, yet never completed. Maybe I'll even do some blog entries on these dramas.

May seems like it's going to be a great month for K-dramas, totally with javabeans on that. I'm not watching any K dramas right now, but I'm definitely going to check out the Hong sisters latest, Best Love, about a couple in a We Got Married setup. Gotta love it for that, since WGM is one of my favorite shows.

For all the other upcoming dramas, I have my eye on a lot, but will wait until reviews and recaps pour in to decide what else to watch.

Instead, I'm going to focus on finishing dramas I have yet to finish for years, and for no good reason.

For Korean dramas, I want to finish Sungkyunkwan Scandal, My Country Calls and 1% of Anything from years ago. I watched the first ten or so episodes of 1% of Anything, but I think it got draggy and the couple were already together so...

I actually liked My Country Calls, but then something else called, and I never got back to it. Pleasant comedy, not too stupid, with scene stealing second lead.

I've also been trying to get through
Hateful But Once Again /Again, My Love. I've watched four or five episodes and have yet to decide whether to move on or just give up.

Taiwanese dramas - A Game About Love (2006) - I watched a goodly number of episodes, not sure why, since it didn't seem particularly interesting, but maybe I should finish it? The same thing could be said of Romantic Princess (2007), although since it had a cute premise, I know why I watched that.

Then there's Why, Why Love (2007) and Invincible Shan Bao Mei (2008). I finished like 10+ episodes of each one, only to give up with the end in sight. Why? (Inner voice telling me maybe because they weren't that good?)

Thailand lakorns - Still watching Ka Khong Kun and Awayjee Chompoo. And I need to finish Dok Ruk Rim Tang (2010). It's like Taddao Bussaya, a girl pretending to be a guy, but less cute, and more dumb than Taddao Bussaya.

Ruk Nai Marn Nek (2010) has a sure kill premise in my book: an arranged marriage between a rich crippled girl and a poor, but high class family, but it also has icky factor of weak heroine (supposedly she gets better cause she's not really a ____) and the fact that hero divorced the wife he loves to marry her.

... Actually, now I think about it, I had good reasons for dumping these dramas. ^-^
